Description

Thisauction is fora Low Hours 1974 BSA B50 MX. These low hour, ever raced MX bikes are getting harder to find.

Bike came from the private collection of one of the founders and former President of the BSA Owners Club of Southern California.

It has been stored inside for 25 yearsafter it wasridden on the Barstow to Vegas dual sport ride in 1989.

Bike has been cleaned up and ridden recently, t has a clean carb and gas tank. All engine oils were recently changed. Rear tire has low use. Will need a new front tire (cracks).

Bike has new clutch plates & springsand runs strong. Other new parts include: Aluminum side number plates andnew aluminumrear fender. Used front fender is not stock.

Also has some cool vintage parts on it like a vintage Hi Point whirlpool throttle and a Supertrapp silencer - spark arrestor.

This bike will need new rear shocksand new chrome fork tubes. New fork tubes are available on this site for only $149.00 with free shipping.

Front wheel hubappears to becorrect but front axle and brake backing plate may be from another BSA model.

The gas tank has dentsbut noleaks. Biggest dents in the gas tank are in front (see pictures) near fork tubes because thisframe is missing the steering stops.

Gas tank has been spray can repainted in the garage and is not a professional quality job.

Bike has nice handlebars and levers butis missing the front brake cable.

Front wheel is a 19 inch aluminum Akront shouldered rim. Stock rim was replaced because 20 inch tires were too hard to find.

All in all this is a nice bike with a few issues that will need to be addressed by the new owner, he low opening bid price reflects its current condition .

Current owner grew up riding 2 strokes and just can't get use to the starting drill on big 4 stroke singles.

I am by no means a BSA or British Bike expert but please ask any questions you may have about this bike and I will try to answer them.

Bike will be sold with a bill of sale. Bike is located in Corona, aliforniaclose tothe 91 Freeway.

Sellercan store the bike for up to one month free. Buyer has 7 days from end of auction to make full payment.
