Description

Woo Hoo!! Remember the "Woodie" cars from the 40's, 0's, 0's, nd others? Final chanceoffering at starting price of $2,495.00!
Well, ou're absolutely guaranteed not to see another Cushman exactly like this one at any of the local or national Cushman meets or automobile shows, t's one of a kind. So if you're like me, lways wishing for something just a bit nicer and a little different from the "run of the mill", aybe this will be it for you!
Cushman never made a "Woodie" to the best of my knowledge, ut had they I believe it might have looked a lot like this one. Except this one has been completely modernized with an updated modern 6.5 HP electronic ignition engine with fuel shutoff, gnition switch, nd low oil cutoff, t moves!! And, ther updated features include LED headllight and taillight, hrome plated rear springs, ickel plated chain, modern Hilliard Extreme Duty clutch, custom fabricated straight pipe exhaust that sounds fabulous, nd a new custom fabricated "Woody" body with integral storage compartment. This body is easily removable by loosening the four bolts attaching it to the frame, nplugging the electrical wiring connector under the seat, nd lifting off the body! It mounts in the same manner and at the same four locations as the original sheet metal body, nd would be easily replaceable with an original sheet metal body should the owner desire. The original sheet metal body is available separately and is available separately.
Everything you see on this Cushman frame and running gear has been replaced with new, ncluding the tires and tubes, ear springs, lectrical wiring, .5 HP 212 CC Predator Engine, illiard clutch, rive chain, hrottle cable, eadlamp (the tail lamp housing is original, ot the bulb), ustom fabricated oak body, ew Dennis Carpenter seat (that is also a direct replacement for the original sheet metal bodied "50" series scooter), nd a custom fabricated new rear fender and fender bracing. Almost forgot, t also has a newly relined rear brake shoe for stopping power. It has been ridden about 2 miles or so since completion just to be sure everything was working properly, nd to perform final adjustments to the setup.
There is no title with this vehicle, t is being sold with a bill of sale only. Check your own state laws regarding titling should you wish to license it.
Contact me should you need further information. I may also be able to assist the purchaser with either short term storage or delivery if desired, utI recommend that you contact me prior to the close of this auction to discuss any such arrangements. I can be reached either through E-Bay or by phone, y phone number is 573 625-0232.
Finally, f you'd like I'll include the original 50 series sheet metal body with the purchase when you pick up the scooter, rovided you let me know you'd like to have it before the auction is over. The original body is in fairly decent condition, ouvers in good condition and solid. Has a bit of rust through at the rear tail light area and a few extra holes drilled for additional items in past years, ut Hey!, t's free!! And can be put back into running condition with a little TLC!
Thanks for Looking, appy Cushman Motoring!!!
