Description

1975 Harley-Davidson FLH Shovelhead.

Great running shovel here for sale.
Well maintained with recent trans rebuild new Barnett clutch and aluminum pressure plate. I added the larger early model throw-out bearing and a six bolt clutch basket while I had it apart. This bike has all new bearings in the wheels steering head and swing arm. New stainless steel rotors and pads on the GMA calipers with Russel braided hoses. The rear suspension is Progressive heavy duty shocks that drop the bike about 2" with the shock mounts moved into the swing arm. The front end was lowered 1.5" also so the whole bike has a great low stance to it. Fred Kondlin Bonanza bars with a late model one piece riser/clamp with locking screws Avon Renthal grips. Authentic Harley-Davidson saddle in leather sprung on a Builtwell hinged bracket. The black and silver flamed paint job is by a local painter and is flawless. The wheels are polished aluminum CCI disks tires Avon Venoms. I also replaced all of the chrome with polished aluminum. Forward controls include Joker Machine pedals and foot rests.New o-ring chain running inside a custom made aluminum chain guard. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has a 4.5" S&S stroker flywheel in it making it and 84" Shovelhead it also has an S&S Super E carb with a DaVinci Venturi and S&S 450 cam. Air cleaner is an authentic $$$ Goodson. The exhaust is all stainless steel made just for this bike and includes removable baffles. Battery is a 1 year old glass mat 330+ CCA hooked to an All Balls Starter motor with custom heavy gauge cables. Kicker is heavy duty and works great with a hot engine. Tons of new parts too many to list so just ask.
Bike does have a slow leak in the front wheel/tubeless tire. It loses about 1 PSI per day so I never went looking to sort it out. Speedometer is a repop so mileage is unknown but obviously more than 13K.

This bike is ready to ride I like building them once done well I get bored real quick.
Over 11000 dollars invested. Clean VIN numbers match and clear title in hand. Buy it for $7900.00 which is my "want to get price" but cash talks so send me a best offer and we'll work it out from there yes I am flexible on price ready for my next project.
Will consider trades for stock FLH Shovelheads or older Ford or Chevy stepside pickup trucks.

Bike is advertised locally so ad may be pulled without notice.

Local pickup required I have flexible work hours and will work with shipper to pick up bike.
Please ask questions I am happy to answer them.
