UP FOR AUCTION IS MY '47 UL HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE. 74 CI (1200+ CC) HIGH COMPRESSION. THIS IS THE LAST YEAR OF THE BIG FLATHEAD PRODUCTION. I AM THE 3RD OWNER OF THIS BIKE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE THE NAMES OF THE OTHER 2 GENTLEMEN UPON PURCHASE. THE BIKE HAD 27K MILES ON IT WHEN I PURCHASED IT NEARLY 13 YEARS AGO AND HAD BEEN IN STORAGE FOR 18 YEARS. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE THE '84 OHIO LICENSE PLATE THAT CAME ON THE BIKE. THIS BIKE HAS VERY FEW REPRODUCTION PARTS AND IS STILL 6 VOLT AS ORIGINAL. THE FRONT FENDER LIGHT IS REPRODUCTION AS IS THE HORN (I HAVE NOW INSTALLED THE ORIGINAL HORN COVER) YOU WILL RECEIVE THE ORIGINALS AND THE ORIGINAL LUGGAGE RACK AS I HAVE ALL 3. THIS WAS A RUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL BIKE WHEN I GOT IT AND YOU WILL RECEIVE THE PHOTO ALBUM OF THE DISASSEMBLY AS WELL AS THE MANUALS THAT I HAVE FOR THIS YEAR. I PUT BOTH CRASH BARS ON THE BIKE SO WHOEVER PURCHASES IT WILL NOT SCUFF THE PAINT OR HOPEFULLY ANY OTHER PART IF PERHAPS YOU LAY IT ON ITS SIDE WHILE LEARNING TO RIDE. IT IS DEFINITELY A FUNKY RIDE AT THE BEGINNING ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE IS ADAPTED TO LATE MODEL BIKES. I PERSONALLY LIKE THE BIKE WITHOUT THE BARS BUT TO EACH THEIR OWN. RIGHT? PRACTICE IN A BIG PARKING LOT IS RECOMMENDED. BUT HEY! YOU'RE A BIG BOY DO AS YOU PLEASE! THERE IS NO GREATER SOUND THAN THE SOUND OF A NATURALLY ASPIRATED HARLEY ENGINE. EVERY BIKE HAS ITS OWN PERSONALITY WHEN IT COMES TO KICK STARTING IT AND THIS ONE IS NO DIFFERENT. GENERALLY 2-3 KICKS AND SHE IS OFF AND RUNNING. ONE KICK FULL CHOKE THEN 1 OR 2 AT 13 CHOKE.
