1962 Honda Dream 305

This is a great bike for someone who is looking for a fun ride around town or looking to invest some time into a wonderful project. Wherever I rider it. people always ask about it and love the look of it. I have some history with it. which I will describe below. I bought this bike over 13 years ago from a farmer in Indiana. At that time. I had it winterized and put into storage. Around 3 years ago. I got it out of storage and put about $800 into it. I got new brakes. tires. new plugs. battery. fuel line and just basically cleaned it up so I could ride it. The bike features a 4 speed transmission. dual mirrors. and rear pegs for a passenger. This is not to say the bike is perfect. As the pictures show. the seat has a tear and there is the general wear & tear that you would see with a bike this old. Also. neither speedometer nor odometer work (which is why I put a 0 for mileage above). Since riding it 3 years ago. I have let it sit in my garage while working on other projects. As such. the electric start is not working since I let the battery die. The kick start works but the bike can sometimes be tough to start. I want to be honest with people so that they know what they are getting. The bike is fun to ride. shifts smoothly and handles well. It's great to ride around town and is very enjoyable. I would encourage you to take the bike home in a trailer as it is not something I would want to ride on the highway and it might be some TLC to start up for the first time in a couple of years.
