Description

Ive owned this bike for the past 35 years.

This bike was built while keeping in mind that a adult would be riding it.

Original Paint Frame / Tank.

Top end of engine rebuilt many years ago and runs excellent.

I removed valve cover and cam chain is tight on the cam gear and everything looks good.

Has a Supertrapp pipe thatsounds great.

K & N High Performance air filter.

New Clutch plates. I think they are Barnett with matching clutch springs.

Newer Chain and Custom ordered 51 tooth alloy rear sprocket. Stock is steel and 46 teeth. New sprocket gives more low end for a heavier adult and will work better at higher elevations. I had this bike in the mountains and jetted it for the area if I remember right. You will want to double check the jetting and jet it for your specific location.

Original Honda fenders, ide panels and front number plate. All show age but function. Side panels are missing the rear mounting tab and are held on by a hole and a tie wrap. Air filter side panel can not be mounted due to high performance air filter but is included and could be modified or the stock air box could be re installed and then it would fit.

Rear shocks are 13 1/4 eye to eye mounted on bike with weight of bike on them. 1 feels like it has all of its damper and rebound and the other about 50% but they have worked well together for the past 35 years for me.

Comes with a ORIGINAL Trick DG PerformanceSwingarm uninstalled and bare. Has been re anodized . You will needto acquirethe parts not pictured to install it. Pivot bushings, ensioner, hain roller etc.

The front forks upper area behind the number plate, n between the triple clampshave rust. The lowers where the shocks slide up and down are fine. The seals will need to be replaced but work ok as is. I would just replace the forks with the XR100 forks included and rebuild those, nbsp;if they even need it, hey look fine to me.

Also comes with 1980's Honda XR/XL 100 front forks and upper triple clamp uninstalled. This is a upgrade that will give you about 2 inches more travel in the front, ooks stock and the forks will not hit the tank when handlebars turned like some other front fork upgrades for these XR75's and they are lighter than the heavier fork upgrades. The lighterit is, he faster it goes. You can see the difference in length with the XR100 forks sitting next to a stock XR75 fork in the photo.

The right rear fender mounting tab was broken off so I fabricated/welded on a new one. It doesnt match the stock one perfectly but looks good enough and is stronger than stock-see photo.

Footpeg mounting bolts have been drilled and tapped to a larger 3/8 size and have Loctite applied.

The supertrapp pipe sounds and worksgreat but the main lower mounting bracket could be modified to make it look better. I would replace the original XR75 down pipe section with thestock XR75 mounting bracket(about 6 inches)with a piece of correct diameter exhaust pipe andweld onthe triangular factory bracket already there. Itperforms and functionsgreat as is.

Seat has been recovered and has a tiny tear in it.

Easily Idles like it should.

This bike runs excellent wide open.

Clear Idaho title.
