Description

This is a running, iding original survivor. All the electronics seem to work properly: brake light, urn signals, head light, orn, tarter and neutral and high beam indicators. The tires have a lot of tread left on them, hey look to be original. The gas tank and side covers are in good overall condition. The chrome is in good condition as well as the black paint . The common muffler rust is present on this bike, ut it sounds really good! The seat is in excellent condition. I tried to take a lot of pictures to show the condition of the bike.

This is a great platform for a café racer, treet tracker, obber, r whatever vintage custom you want. The bike is complete, he only non-oem part is the horn, hich I have and will come with the bike.

Here's the back story on this bike. The 86 year old man that I bought this bike from had it sitting in his garage since 1989. He bought it from the original owner, rought it home and then the bike ran poorly on his first ride and he parked it. He never got the bike fixed, ut he said he would start it up a couple of times a year. When I bought it, t ran, ot well, ut it would idle with the right combination of choke and throttle. It was so clean and low miles I bought it immediately to keep as a companion to my 1975 CB360. I've since purchased a 1973 CB450 that seems to be my current obsession. But, efore I jump into my new project, wanted to get this old girl up and running while I decided what to do with her. The right side carburetor diaphragm had a small tear, hat was the reason it got parked after one ride. I figured if you're this committed to reading this bikes story, ou might be interested in what caused it to be abandoned. You can see what's been done to the bike so far from the list above. It runs and rides, 've taken out for a couple of short test rides for a total of 4 miles. I have the original Ohio title from February 8th 1974 when this bike was purchased new from Rich Motor Sales in Washington, hio. After the less than satisfactory first ride the previous owner never even finished the title transfer. The BMV didn't need the old title, o I thought it was worth keeping. So, ow you know everything about the bike that I do.
