Description

I am the second owner of this 1978 CT90. I purchased it locally approximately 15 years ago to shuttle between my hangar and the terminal at the Stockton Airport. In all the years I owned it I drove it less than 50 miles (it's 1/4 mile between my hangar and Atlantic Aviation). Since I recently retired from aviation I am selling all aviation related stuff, ncluding the Honda. This bike is in original un-restored condition. Other than light wear and a few very minor dings and scratches (see photos) it is in excellent original condition. The tires were cracking badly and I didn't think I should sell it in that condition so I installed two new Michelin tires. The bike starts on the first or second kick and it sounds great (see video). As far as defects the headlamp appears burned out. The turn indicators and horn do work perfectly. All of the indicator lights in the speedo are working. There are a few minor paint dings and the plastic frame cover has several cracks. In my opinion it should be replaced. The seat is perfect. In one of the photos you see a white spot on the seat. If I had noticed before I would have wiped it off and taken another photo. I will post a new seat photo soon but I can tell you it is in perfect original condition. I had the engine tuned and serviced when I purchased it but that was 15 years ago it might not be a bad idea to do it again. The crankcase oil still appears light and clear. The original tool kit is intact and will be included with the cycle, s will the owners manual. We also have the original ignition keys as well as fork and spare fuel tank locking keys. I have requested a new pink slip from California DMV and will provide that to the new owner. The odometer shows 295 miles. I am the second owner and purchased it with 240 miles on it. It was in near perfect (showroom) condition when I bought it. While I can't verify the actual mileage the condition was so amazing and original I had no reason to question the mileage when I bought it. The condition (see photos) speaks for itself. We are willing to ship the motorcycle anywhere you wish at the buyers cost. I have a crew at my warehouse that would build a perfect shipping crate for it. I would ask the buyer to cover materials only which we will do at a fixed cost of $100. Please let me know if you have questions or need additional photos. It is stored safely in Lodi, A and can be viewed or picked up there if you wish. There is no reserve and we will let the auction run the full 10 days. Please no requests to end the auction early. Good luck
