1986 HONDA GOLD WING GL1200 NO RESURVE

I recently bought this Goldwing motorcycle from a private seller in Muncie as is for $2000, nd it had no problems during the test drive and when I rode it the 35 miles home. It wasn’t until a few weeks later on a short parts run to Union City that it developed an engine knock and I turned around to go home as soon as it happened. After I got home I let the motor cool off before starting it again and there was no noise until it warmed up to temp. the oil warning light never came on, nd the temp gage never showed hot. All the oil and coolant levels are good.

I have looked around and have found a used motor on eBay for around $600 but I just don’t have the time to change it out. My wife and I have decided to find a newer Goldwing and hope to find an 1800 in our price range. So this Goldwing must go! My loss is your gain.

I was told that the battery was new and the tires look new. There are floorboards and the heal-toe shifter has been added. So I know that there are a lot of great parts on this bike and I probably could part it out and get more money, ut then again I just don’t have the time.
