Honda CX500 custom bobber cafe racer-professional build by BBCR

This listing is for booking a Honda cx500 BBCR bobber-cafe. The bike will be finished in 2 months and delivered to your door using a shipping company from Uship(extra fee applies)

A 50% down payment is required when the build is booked-the balance is due when the bike is finished and ready to be shipped or picked up. So the full balance is not required when placing an order.

Any combination of colors can be used-contact the shop for more details.

Here are some parts and prices that can be added before the build begins:

-Modern inverted front forks suspension-yamaha r1 or r6, onda cbr600rr or 1000rr. 1200$ extra

-Spoke 17'' wheels-1200$ extra

-Cafe racer seat and cap-custom made to order-1000$

I wanted the engine to match the frame-so everything was painted with professional paint in Black Pearl.The wheels were done in Hyper Silver. The tank was painted at an automotive shop and the aluminum custom parts were turned on the lathe or CNC-ed.

Custom 2 into 2 exhaust with a SS muffler on each side.New Michelin Commander tires.Many one of a kind parts were built specifically forthis bike.

This is a show quality bike-5 of them were built in the past year and they are scattered all over USA and Canada,even one in Europe.My shop specializes in Honda's only. Will start a build on a Moto Guzzi and a BMW later this year tho.

The bike will come with 30 days limited warranty that will be applied to the parts on this bike.Not a lot of builders or shops offer any kind of warranty at all.

This bike will fit anybody at any size from 100lbs to 240lbs without any changes to suspension.If you weigh more than 240lbs-contact me and i will install a new heavier spring or different shock.

Here is the list of parts and work done to it.

Engine and Fuel components

• Engine was opened andrebuiltusing new front and rear cover gaskets,new clutch-water pump-camshaft- CDI pulser gaskets
• New clutch discs and springs
  
• A triple bypass was performed-new stator andnewcam chain
  
• New o-rings thru the cooling system.The radiator and thermostat was re-boiled and flushed
  
• New NGK Iridium spark plugs
  
• Every bolt was polished or replaced
  
• Carburetors were rebuilt and synched.New jets for the modified exhaust system and for air pods. However i dorecommend a new set of Mikuni carbs-they are on my previous builds and have improved the bike dramatically-it will be an extra 550$-and i can install them prior to the bike being shipped. The Mikuni's paired with the 2 into 2 exhaust and the weight reduction ads 25% Horse power gain.

Frame

• The frame was modified to fit the new CNC seat .The rear half of the framewas cut and drilled to accept the CNC seat
• New CNC aluminum seat frame for themono shock conversion
  
• The swing arm has welded mounts for the mono shock
  
• A new rear fender was built into the swing arm- top halfto protect the rider andthe bottom half to protect thebattery tray under the engine from water and debris.
• Custom Front fender
• The top triple tree was modified to allow for the Aluminum speedometer to be installed
  
• All the frame components were blasted,primed and painted with professional automotive paint.3 coats of clear coat was applied to the wheels,frame,swing arm,triple trees and forks.

Suspension and brake system

• The front suspension was completely rebuilt.The forks weredisassembled and new oil/dust seals were used.New 10w oil.The fork springs were stiffened for the comfort of the ride
  
• Showa rear mono shock
  
• Rear differential was rebuilt with new oil and grease
  
• New brakemastercylinder with new braided brake line in blue
  
• The front caliper was rebuilt with new piston and seals,as well with new oil

Paint and powder coat

• The fuel tank was stripped and treated inside for rust with Northern Tank liner.It was professionally painted in Porche Mexico blue with hyper silver lines.4 coats of clear coat was applied
  
• Rebuilt fuel cap and painted inBlack Pearl to match the frame
  
• The frame was blasted-primed and painted in Black Pearl with automotive professional paint.The frame holes were welded and sealed.Center side stand was removed
  
• Both front and rear wheels were painted in Hyper Silver with Black Pearl lip.They were rebuilt with new bearings and re-greased
• The swing arm was painted in Black Pearl with automotive professional paint
• Thevalve covers arepowder coated in black
  
• The engine was taken apart and each cover painted individually in Black Pearl and then clear coated
  
• The radiator was sanded and painted in Black pearl as well

Electrical and charging system

• New 8 cell Ballistic Li-ion battery with quick charge hook up
  
• 2012 Honda CBR250 right hand control rewired to the cx system
• 2008 Honda CBR1000 left side control-rewired to the cx system
  
• The cx500 wiring was re-done.Shortened or lengthened where needed. All the OEM plugs were retained
  
• Ignition system was relocated to the swing arm using a custom plate
  
• New stator installed
  
• New battery tray that mounts under engine
  
• 1980 Honda cb750F headlight and housing
  
• New LED Brake and Turn signal Tail light
  
• New LED front turn signals

Exhaust system

• New custom exhaust system with a 2 into 2 design
  
• Custom Stainless Mufflers on each side
  
• Exhaust waswrapped in blue fiberglass and tied with SS ties

A 500$ deposit is required thru paypal in 24hr from the end of the auction. The balance is required in 5-7 days thru certified check,money order or cash.If Paypal is used, uyer is responsible for imposed fee-No exceptions.
Shipping is buyers responsibility, ut i will help load and secure the bike. Best and cheapest service is Uship. I have used this company a lot and they are great.
Just to give a few examples, hipping to Florida is $300-400. Shipping to California is $400-$600, exas is $400-500 thru Uship.

Some of the bikes i built recently

All of the bikes are tested before they gettransformed.Meaning that when the donor bike is purchased, t gets ridden for at least 50 miles.I make sure that the bike is ready for another 20 years of riding.

This bike was testedthoroughly before and after it was built.
Restassured that you will get a 100% reliable bike-with new and upgraded charging system, hich is one of their weak spots.
The only thing i would strongly suggest is a set of Mikuni carbs-i have not installed a set just to keep the cost down for the buyer.But every cx500 that i sold was eventually fitted with custom Mikuni carbs.The Mikuni's will cost an extra 600$.
