Description

This rare and collectible little 1971 HONDA CB50K1 is a Japanese Domestic Market machine brought back to the States by a returning military man. I have done some preliminary refurbishment and protection. She starts easily and runs okay, nd will likely run fantastic with further tuning. The engine sounds tight and makes no inappropriate noises. It has a clear TN Certificate of Title readilytransferableto a new owner.
The speedometer/odometer is in Kilometers and reads 100 KM/H and 5530 KM. Conversion to Miles produces 62.4 MPH and 3436 Miles.
Other than the 'CB50' badges, he remainder of the decals on the frame are all in Japanese. Please take time to study the photos carefully. The paint is original as is the seat. Both have blemishes. There is patina present on the plating and it is in need of one turn signal lens. The signals are all operational as well as the tail light and the horn. The headlight is all there but the position, ead lamp, nd brake light are not working. One side cover is cracked and the other is damaged. New ones are available on the internet.
Recent service includes the following:
  • New Battery
  • New OEM Fork Seals
  • Fork Fluid Flush and Refill
  • Carburetor cleaning
  • New OEM Air Cleaner Element

  • New Petcock
