Greetings. /p> This 2012 F800GS is for sale here on eBay and locally in North County San Diego (Oceanside). Due to an imminent Miami. FL relocation. I must sell my beloved F800GS. Florida's arrow-straight roads. aggressive cagers. no lane-sharing. and the humidity do not entice my riding desires. I'd rather sell and have someone else enjoy everything this bike has to offer. I'm the second owner. First owner (a friend of mine) put just over 4000mi (road only) on it. and I put the current millage on it (11. 36mi at time of posting). I've taken this F800 off-road several times (Mt. Thomas. Nate-Harrison Grade. Berdoo Canyon. and a few other areas local to SoCal). but never made it to Baja on it (always wanted too. just never got around to it). Bike is pretty much bone-stock. The exhaust can is an old Hindle that was designed for a late 90s/early 2000s GSXR750. I had the elbow made at local fabricator. and I use a spark-arrestor slide from an old Akropvic exhaust I had (for my Husqvarna 450SMR). The spark-arrestor slides in and is held in by an locking allen screw. The can and elbow weigh considerably less than the stock exhaust (which I still have and comes with the bike). and sounds a lot nicer. All three BMW (Touratech) cases come with the bike as well. They were a P. O. add-on. that he paid close to $3K for items/install. Hand-guards are plastic OEM equipment from a Husaberg 570 that I painted to match. They're ok and would probable save levers once. I'd replace them if I were keeping the bike. OEM tires are still available if desired (~30% life left). All servicing has been done: -P. O. did initial 600mi (oil change)-BMW Motorrad. Escondido did the 6000mi and 12000mi services. -New clutch-pack installed around 10. 00mi (I glazed the original clutch in a sand-wash). No crashes or get-offs. one parking lot tip-over with P. O. from when another biker backed his bike into it; resulting in a scratch to right case and bar-end. Local pick-up preferred. I will work with buyers 100mi or less from the San Diego/Oceanside area. I will not arrange inter-state or international shipping.
