1968 Royal Enfield Interceptor Mk1A

1968 Royal Enfield Interceptor Mk1A. Numbers match and said (by the prior 79 year old owner—since 1970) to have ~1500 miles. Can’t say for sure because the odometer is buggered—see picture. Good compression. New battery. Starts and runs down the road.The bike had been stored inside the house for 25+ years. For some reason, e had new tires installed a few years ago but then never rode the bike. Original exhaust system is included.

UK Royal Enfield Owners Club chairman, raham Scarth, dvised that Interceptor Mk.1A # 761 was despatched from the Bradford-on-Avon factory to Shores of Warren, I on the 26th April 1968. The AGZ number on the front of the crankcase is AGZ 3550.
