FOR SALE A 1961 BMW R60. It is a very nice and all serviced up bike. I have notes of the service work that have been performed when the bike was last torn down for service. All bearings in the motor and tranny have been replaced.

"The BMW R 60 VIN 621434 was manufactured on July 01st, 960 and delivered on July 20th, 960 to the BMW importer Butler & Smith in New York City. The bike was equipped with a bench seat."

Bike was sold originally in 1961 hence it was titled as 1961 and that was a common practice back in the days.

Matching frame, ngine, nbsp;tag and title numbers. It is a very honest bike, ne of the nicest riding and looking pre-1970 BMW bikes I have ever ridden. It is an older restoration. This bike has always been stored in temp. controlled garage and it shows. It is a very clean machine, ot perfect but a great every day runner.

The motor was restored including slingers work, earings serviced, ngine has compression (105 psi each cylinder), lutch and brakes work well, earbox goes through all 4 gears as it should. Lights, orn, lso all work as intended.

Fairly recent tires and tubes, ew wiring harness, eworked heads, ew valve cover, ew Worx shocks installed, enfeld solo seat, oske style racing exhaust, ow "Magura" Euro handle bars and original tire pump. Top end resealed with brand new set of gaskets and seals, alves adjusted.

Ever since we took the pictures we have installed color matching license plate bracket.

If the seller is an Illinois Dealer, he following charges apply: 1) $20 drive-away permit[unless transferring plates] and 2) AZ, A, L, I, N, L, A, I, C residents must include their state's sales tax with payment[unless shipping]. Residents of other states pay taxes and license/registrations fees in their home state, ealers exempt.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, nd make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction.
