I found the company that claims to have supplied the motorcycle for the movie and bought this similar bike from them in 2011. Read more. Because this is a reconstructed motorcycle. the actual years of the frame (VIN 938289); engine (447834) and Gearbox (472216) are unknown. It is titled in VA as a 1968 bike based on the estimated year of the frame. Dnepr bikes are Ukrainian and built in Kiev. This bike has been reconstructed to look like a WWII era BMW/Ural. I've displayed it at two national veterans conferences and otherwise enjoyed short rides around my neighborhood. Everyone who sees it absolutely loves it. Its been a joy to own. show and ride.
