Owners comments:

I have owned this bike since 2001 and though the miles are low, do regularly cycle the motor (kick it over) and or start the bike and let the motor warm up. If I ride it (and I do), take it for short trips around my block so the motor has not been sitting idle. This is a low mileage bike, nd though low mileage is great, ou have to be careful because if the a motorcycle or any type of mechanical equipment that involves gears, ubber bushings and even fuel left in carbs can cause damage if they sit idle. Years ago I left fuel in the carbs of one of my dirt bikes and did not touch the bike for several months only to find the motor was locked (I was using Castrol oil (which I have not used in this bike)). Also, his bike sits taller than a standard RZ350 and handles excellent! I raised the height of the bike because the standard RZ350 just seemed tiny to me with little suspension travel and I was after a more aggressive modern look, hich I achieved. This bike also comes with all of the original parts (wheels, airing, eat, irbox, rakes, tc…). The only things I do not have are the stock exhaust and the autolube (bike is premix only). However, hese items are readily available online should you want to convert the bike back to stock (all the parts are bolt on). But, he 2 piece clutch cover cannot be returned to original (you would have to buy a new cover). I have never dyno’ed this bike, ut I am certain its’ well over 60hp. I have a video of the bike running at:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoCdbjzx6ho

Some of the photos where taken during the build and I want to point out that in at least 2 photos the carbs are off the bike (they were off to RZ's Unlimited to be bored to 30MM). Also, he lower fairing chin does have a couple of small cracks (the chin is usable as they are hairline, ut I wanted to point this out).

You will not find a nicer aftermarket RZ350, hen I built this bike I kept it looking like an RZ350, ecause I wanted to preserve the heritage. I could have used an aluminum frame or even a big bore kit, ut I did none of this because when you ride this bike down the street, t does get people’s attention, ut for those who are in the know, hey can quickly tell it’s an RZ350…with just a bit more.

I am probably preaching to the choir with this one, ut this is a 2 stroke motorcycle and while it starts and runs as it should, t is still a 2 stroke and 2 strokes are not 4 strokes (2 strokes do require attention from time to time). Often this could involve jetting the carbs should there be a change in climate or temperature, o if you have never owned one, lease do your homework on 2 strokes before you consider bidding. There are no surprises here and I will stand by this bike, ut it is what it is. Good luck bidding, ike.
