Up for offer is this beautiful little Rambler American. This is a 1960 model. which features the custom trim. The custom trim package was a rarely ordered package. This includes more exterior trim. full rambler hubcaps. a 196 c. u. overhead valve engine. and the optional automatic transmission. This car was fully professionally restored in 2012. It features new paint. interior. brakes. rebuilt engine and trans. This little Rambler was originally purchased by a single woman in La Jolla. California. She owned the car until the mid to late 80's. The second owners purchased the car because it was so straight and rust free. They are the ones who had the car professionally and thoroughly restored. After the vehicle was restored. it was displayed in a private museum. I am only the third owner of this beautiful. rust free. low mileage. California Black plate car. The only thing I have done to the car is bought the chrome wheels and new BF Goodrich tires. I have the original steel wheels. with good tires. and 4 mint rambler full hubcaps. I have only put one hundred miles on the new tires and wheels. Since 1960. this car has been meticulously taken care of. stored in heated garages. and loved by its owners.
