Description

1953 Chevy 210 Handyman Station Wagon

A rare vehicle to see in this condition. Solid and mostly all original parts. The 235 Blue Flame engine and the Power-Glide transmission have been rebuilt and have less than 500 driven miles. I do not have the paper work for this, ut believe me it was done. It now has a split manifold with dual exhaust and is quite running.

I am pretty sure that I am the third owner of this vehicle and I know most of its history well. The exterior paint and chrome have been untouched and are the original. As you can see by the pictures they are in pretty good condition with normal wear. I have owned the Wagon for over 25 years. It’s never been driven in the snow or driven during the winter. I have kept it in the garage as long as I have owned it.

The wagon could be used as a daily driver. It’s been my project car and I almost finished everything. The electric system was converted to a 12 volt system. All light bulbs, lower motor are all 12 volt now. The gas gauge was inverted, nd works sporadically. The nice thing about the 12 volt conversion is how easy it is to start. I installed a custom 12 volt wiper motor to replace the vacuum wiper motor. I also bought a custom cassette player for the dash.

Almost all the interior has been gone over or replaced. The dash has been repainted. The gauges and dash pieces have all been cleaned and or replaced. The seats and door panels were re-upholstered to resemble the original form factor and colors of brown and white. The 8 bow headliner was replaced and so was the floor coverings. The interior wood in the way back, as all removed and replaced. See pictures it turned out nice.

Items that may need attention: 1) Windshield has a new seal, ut the windshield itself has a split. 2) The tires may need replaced. 3) I have the front seat belts, ut never installed. 4) The tail gate doors need a seal. 5) Gasgauge is original, ut electrically inverted, ould be replaced?

The break cylinders on each tire are brand new. Battery is brand new with a 5 year warranty.

That’s a little about my Chevy Wagon. Being sold AS IS, uyer is responsible for pickup. Full payment will be required. Contact me with any questions.

Best Regards.
