1954 Corvette Barn Find. Original Pennant Blue. This auction is for a 1954 Corvette that was recently discovered in a garage after sitting for many years. Previous owner bought it in 1969. This car left the factory as a real deal pennant blue car. which is very rare (evident in certain places that have not been repainted. Such has steering column. and under spare tire). Only 300 of the 3640 were pennant blue. Car was repainted in the past 15 years. Paint job quality is fair. It is a numbers matching car. The frame and undercarriage look incredible. I am having trouble attaching a video to the auction but I will be happy to email anyone a video of the car running. Previous owner was very meticulous about the car. It spent so much time in the garage that neighbors and locals did not know car was there. let alone for over 40+ years. Car is very stock. The transmission appears to have been replaced with another Powerglide. This car comes with another Powerglide that was found in the garage. A transmission installed is all that appears to be holding you back from cruising this spring. Car has all of the original side chrome. bumpers. bullets. and gauges. Chrome is all in very good shape. very little rusted chrome. The rear bumper and front two license plate bumpers do have a hole drilled through. The clock still has the original date stamp (see picture). The original type biased belted good years tires look brand new! Car comes with additional miscellaneous parts in boxes that were found in the garage while removing car. Known Missing Parts on car: Radio and convertible top.
