Description

For sale is a 2004 Honda S2000. It is a show quality car. Not an everyday sports car. It grabs attention. and people compliment it all the time. Therefore. please don't compare it with other S2000's. 2 seater. Convertible cloth-roof. It has 104137 miles. Power windows. power roof. EPS (Electronic Power Steering). power brakes. ABS. cruise control. rear window defrost. aftermarket rims. 2. 2 L Inline 4-cylinder V-tech engine. rear wheel drive. driver and passenger air-bags. spare donut wheel and tire. Agile chassis with a very rev-happy engine. High discharge projector headlamps. Oil changed every 3000 miles. Plugs replaced every 5000 miles due to recommendation by the supercharger manufacturer. Highly modified! Attention Grabbing Kits Installed. Lambo door-conversion kit on driver and passenger doors. Fiber glass hood. Vortech Supercharger. inner cooler. and related gages installed on driver side A-pillar. Two tone red-black leather seats. Performance exhaust kit. Aerodynamic front and rear bumpers. Aftermarket passenger and driver front-side fenders and side skirts. It was silver until 4 months ago. Got bored with the color and painted it graphite (see pictures). 3 coats of base coat. and 8 coats of clear-coat. I then cut the top clear coat layer with a cutting compound. polished it. and waxed for a mirror glaze. It grabs attention. and people compliment it all the time. Tires still have over half the life left. Please Read Carefully!! Can't Test Drive the Vehicle! Car is not drivable! Needs transmission and clutch. 1st and 2nd gear shaft had deteriorated and the transmission needs to be replaced now. You can have it rebuilt. but the cost would be exactly the same as for a brand new transmission. I had disconnected the supercharger belt about a year ago when the transmission started to make clicking sound. The Vortech supercharger is still connected to the vehicle. but it does not have the belt. therefore it does not run. You can install a new belt and use it. The supercharger electronic module was not installed when I got the car 7 years ago. so it does not have the module. The hood hangs up higher on passenger side due to the supercharger. Engine has no issues! Just installed a brand new catalytic converter. Needs a new downstream O2 sensor. therefore the check engine light stays on. I can perform all of these repairs. but then I would have to add the cost to the selling price of the car. Cloth roof has a 3 inch tear on passenger side. a tear that was stitched by the previous owner on the drive side. and the roof needs some cleaning. The car never came with a radio. but I have a 10 inch LCD screen CD/DVD/Radio/USB player. that came of my other car. I will let you have it with the purchase of the car at the advertised price. but the buyer is responsible for having it installed. Front bumper has some damage at lower passenger side and driver side (see pictures). There is a cut/tear on the driver side fender. about 10 inch long. but it is hard to see. AutoCheck report says that the vehicle has frame damage. According to the dealer that I purchased the vehicle from. the damage was reported due to the installation of the Lambo door kit. The fender panel portion that meets the body of the car near the driver had to be cut to install the Lambo door kit that reduced the structural integrity of the vehicle. and therefore who ever inspected the car reported the modification as frame damage. I bought the car with approximately 56000 miles. and drove it almost 50000 miles. I never experienced any erratic handling behavior while driving it. It never got any alignment while I had the car since it never needed one. It goes in a straight line. From what I was told and read from the report. it wasn't any accident but the door conversion kit that results in frame damage showing up in vehicle history. Therefore. the title should be clean. but I'm not sure what to select for title status. and chose "Rebuilt. Rebuildable. Reconstructed" as a random choice. Buy it at your discretion. since you assume all the responsibility for the vehicle after you purchase it. Again. this is a show quality car. Not an average everyday driver. Its a true sports car. and not a four door sedan disguised as a sports car. Buyer Responsible for vehicle pick-up. No overseas delivery or purchase. No Scams please! Cash only. no checks!
