Description

Up for sale is a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. It is setup as a pro touring car with all of the modern amenities. I purchased the car in July 2015 to drive until my other car's restoration was complete. My other car is now done, o this car is ready for its new home. I bought the car as-is and ready to drive. It is a really nice driver that is well sorted out with modern drivetrain, reat fuel mileage, nd ice cold a/c! This car would be perfect for the Hot Rod Power Tour, specially considering that it has cruise control and lots of upgrades. It's a great mix of nostalgia and modern. Below is a list of some of the upgrades:
  • 2008 6.0L LS2 Aluminum Engine (~38,000 miles on engine and trans when swapped into Chevelle)
  • 2008 4L70E 4-Speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission
  • Cruise Control
  • Vintage Air A/C & Heat - A/C blows ice cold!
  • C5 Corvette Front Brakes
  • 1998-02 Camaro LS1 Rear Brakes
  • Vintage Wheel Works 17" Wheels w/ 225/50 Front and 275/50 Rear Tires
  • Savitske Classic & Custom (SC&C) Stage 2 Front Suspension - Includes Tall Ball Joints & Fully Adjustable Upper Control Arms
  • Edelbrock Upper & Lower Rear Control Arms
  • Hotchkis Front & Rear Springs
  • Quick Ratio Steering Box From Jeep Grand Cherokee
  • Hydratech Brake Hydrobooster
  • Dual Pass Aluminum Radiator
  • Rick's Tanks Vaporworx Stainless Steel Fuel Tank & PWM Controller
  • 3.55:1 Posi Rearend
  • Morris Classic Concepts 3-Point Retractable Seat Belts in Front & Rear
  • Tinted Glass
  • Dakota Digital VHX Gauges w/ Carbon Fiber Face & Blue Lighting
  • Edelbrock Long Tube Headers
  • Flowmaster Mufflers
  • Mark VIII Electric Fan
  • Recaro Front Bucket Seats Covered in Factory-Style Interior
  • LED Tail Lights & Front Turn Signals
  • Powder-Coated Frame
  • Car Has Undercoating & Second Skin Sound Deadening
  • Detroit Speed & Engineering Selecta-Speed Windshield Wiper Kit
  • Mast Motorsports Oil Pan
  • Speartech Engine Wiring Harness & ECM

As you can see, his car has LOTS of upgrades! It has all of the right upgrades that help it drive and perform like a newer car. The Recaro bucket seats are super comfortable, nd the three-point seat belts in the front keep you strapped in really well. The car has had over 3,100 miles put on it since the restoration was complete, nd it's really well sorted out. It's ready to drive anywhere. The engine starts with the first turn of the key and sounds great. The cruise control does work and makes it super nice if you're on the highway. As I mentioned, he car is built to be driven! The previous owner did have the exterior paint resprayed a few years ago. It looks really nice, ut it's not perfect. It does have a small chip on the driver's side front quarter, nd there is some small blistering around the rear window. You have to get really close to the window trim to see it, ut it is there. The car presents itself really well, nd it gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. You can see the picture across the roof of the car to see just how smooth it is. This is a car that you don't have to be scared to drive, hich is great because it is a BLAST to drive! It will consistently knock down 20+ MPG on the highway, nd the a/c works incredibly well. I was very comfortable cruising the car around last summer in 100+ degree heat, nd it truly has the coldest a/c I've ever had in any old car that I've owned. The engine never got warmer than 185 degrees when I drove it in triple-digit temperatures. It has a factory center console with an aftermarket shifter that looks like an OE production piece. It's done really well.

You can bid with confidence on this car. It's not an "auction" car where you buy it and worry what problems you're getting with it. It's very well sorted out, rives incredibly well, nd is ready to be driven! The car does have the factory radio still in the dash, ut it is not hooked up. That's the only thing I would recommend is adding a stereo. I just listened to my iPod when I would drive the car. It is available for inspection in Georgetown, X, nd it will be the buyer's responsibility to pick the car up in Georgetown. I can help arrange shipping if the buyer so chooses. The car is sold as-is where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. I have tried to represent the car as accurately as possible, nd I do recommend that you inspect the car if you have any questions regarding the condition. Additional pictures are available upon request. The car must be paid in full before I will release it. This means that the funds must CLEAR my bank before I will release it for transport. I will accept cash, cashier's check, r a wire transfer. If you bring a cashier's check to pick the car up, ou cannot take the car until I cash the check. I do have the clear title in hand. The car is well priced for what it is. Mileage may change some as the car is occasionally driven on nice days. I am not in a bind to sell the car. I just don't want it sitting now that my car is done, o it's time for someone else to enjoy it!

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will assist in any way possible. Happy bidding!
