This is an amazing 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon, n amazing condition. 1 family owned, ought new right here in Salem, regon at the local Chevrolet Dealership. This car has never been in an accident, mazing interior, eats have very little wear, on smoker, C blows Ice cold, pgraded to R134a . It is hard to believe when I graduated high school in 1988, his was a brand new car just coming out on the showroom floor, mazing how time flys. I have owned a lot of Caprices in my lifetime, hese cars started out in 1966, here isn't a Caprice or Impala that I don't like, hey all have a timeless look in my opinion. This car has been in the same family since new, ast given to the original owners grandson. He did some mild upgrades, hich I think are great, ew Wheels, pgraded CD AM/FM Radio ( I have the original) was professionally installed. The Alloy wheels just look great on it, uch like you would see back in the Day, hese are reproductions, ut look a lot like the AR, orque Thrust D's. very fitting for a car like this. I love the larger tires and small whitewalls, hich absolutely is a great ride, e decided to buy another vehicle, o traded it in here locally to a friend of mine. I only buy what I like, hich is great dealing in classic cars, s soon as I saw this car, bought it. I get to own some of favorite cars one at a time, nd I don't car what type of wagon it is, agons are my favorites, o matter make or model. This is a low mileage car, ith only 82K on the odometer, t is a great driving car, ou can fly in and drive it home. This will make someone a great second car, hat you can drive and enjoy to the Car Shows or Cruise-ins, elieve it or not, his is car has reached the Classic Car stage of its life, eing 27 years old now. The interior, rivetrain and body are in great condition.
The drivetrain in this Caprice Classic is original, he 305 V8, tarts right up, nd sounds nice and smooth. No modifications, ust sounds like a great Chevrolet V8. It really does run great, nd has plenty of power nice and smooth. Original Automatic transmisison, s shifts very nice, o issues. It had drums in the rear and disc upfront. Mechanically, nbsp; runs awesome, o issues, o engine lights etc. The AC Blows Ice Cold, eater works, ipers, ights, urnsignals etc. The interior is in amazing condition. Starting with the headliner, o sag, uper clean, n perfect condition. They took very nice car of this car, he door panels are immaculate, he seats are near perfect. The carpet is in excellent condition, o rips or tears, robably one of the nicest original carpets I have seen, specially in a light color. The dash pad is mint, eally for a vehicle 25 years old now, t is amazing inside. NON-SMOKER, ery pleasant inside. This is a 9 passenger wagon, ut as you will see in the photos, omeone removed the rear seat, asically cushions, ou might be able to find some down the road. The original owner, anted to use it for actual trunk space and removed them, hey just clip in. The body is in excellent shape, ll original sheet metal, O RUST, r bubbles. We do not salt our roads here in Oregon in the winter, e have cool summers, hich save many of our classic cars. Underneath the car is in excellent condition, mazing floors. The paint, as a very nice shine, t has no touch up on it, here are a few small chips and very minor scratches, ut very minor, his car has been driven, nd you have to start looking close to notice little chips and things, ut overall, great looking car, aint is nice on it. A little discoloration starting to happen on the passenger side of the hood, f you look at it just right in the sun. I see no signs of any repairs, r accidents. When you look down the sides of the car, ery straight and clean. The chrome is all in very nice condition for a car that has not been restored. There is a scratch on the passenger side rocker molding, nd a couple other little scuffs here and there on the chrome, ut very minor. The front bumper, n the drivers side, as a repair on the rubber molding on the corner, oesn't match, ut you have to point it. The glass is in great condition, o cracks, ery clean. The tires are in nice condition, ith around 80% tread on them, he size is perfect, ith gives this car a very nice ride. The car is in very nice condition, t is a way above driver condition, his is the type of car that you will want to park away from other cars. I hope who ever buys it, njoys it and will have a great time with it.
