A TRUE BARN FIND
This 1967 Chevrolet Impala Station Wagon was found in a barn where it had been parked for a number of years. It has 86,000 original miles and it is definitely all there. It has factory air (needs charging), the original 327 ci engine, rebuilt quadrajet carburetor and a 350 turbo automation transmission. As you can see in the photos, the engine has been gone through and all seals and gaskets replaced. The pistons, valves, rocker arms, etc. all look brand new. The engine and engine compartment has been repainted to factory specs. It has a new radiator, all new hoses and belts, power disc front brakes have been added and new brakes on the rear. New shock absorbers, new tires and new wheels have also been installed. New ignition parts have been installed. I have new eye brow moldings and new fender corner filler moldings for the front end not yet installed. I also have two rust free fenders and two rust free front doors from a donor car not installed. I have door bumpers and a complete set of weather stripping which has also not been installed yet.
The carpet is in really good shape. It just needs a good shampooing. In fact the whole interior is in fantastic shape. Door panels look great. I believe the seats have been re-covered at some time. The instrument panel is as clear as the day it was built. Unbelievable!!! The car drives really nice too.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally.
