Description

NO RESERVE!!! Get one bid for minimum and this baby is going to sell!! It is a 2002 VW Weekender (Westfalia) with ONLY 137,500 miles!!! This is a ONE OWNER Westy with many service records from throughout it's life. Sleeps 4 and seats 7. It is complete with all parts any Westfalia fan would expect...to include books and manuals. Significant recent work (front end suspension and ignition coils) with good tires, traight wheels and a general good condition. Floors and underside are clean. This is a used vehicle that is very nice and can be made even nicer with just a little bit of time and money. The arm-rests have typical "sag" but are intact. Get a fix from GoWesty for $9.95. It has clean seating and floor surfaces with no rips or tears (except a couple very small holes in the vinyl back of the rear seat). It has the refrigerator/cooler below the driver side second row seat. The table works as it should. Cup holders (all three) are brand new and fully functional. The paint is still glossy and in good condition with normal wear and tear for a used, 4 year old vehicle with 137,500 miles on the clock. Runs well. The pop-up is in fantastic shape sporting only one very small, roper repair in the front surface. The body is generally very clean with a few spots to point out...as full disclosure. There is a very small rust bubble around the rear wiper (see picture). The driver side sports a couple dings and one slightly larger crease (see picture). Note that PDR wouldn't fix this as it IS a shallow "crease". There are three small rust spots on the driver side door sill (see pictures). The replacement German door sill part is available from the Bus Depot for $39.95. Note in the picture that I used a car key to provide scale to the rust spots which are all within a couple inches of each other. I choose to NOT fix any of this so you can see exactly what it is and you can decide if it is worth fixing to make her perfect again. Driver side mirror has cracks in the upper corner of the glass...but I own that bad luck;-/ The lower right front bumper cover met a snow pile (ie. ice pile!) in a parking space last winter and received a boo-boo. The fog light on the passenger side suffered from this small incident (see pictures). A primed bumper cover (OEM) is available for $250 out of source in Chicago. Fuel filler door needs a bit of love as there is some rust bubbling (as seen in pictures) and the hinge arm is broken. Replacement is available from GoWesty for $40 (used). Windows work. Cruise works. Radio is an aftermarket Sirius XM radio. A/C works. All glass is intact with one small ding in the passenger side of the windshield that can be repaired (not a crack). There is a slight amount of window tint that has peeled from one of the side windows (driver side above table). I believe she will need front rotors before too much longer. We have all correct curtains that are in great shape. I encourage a pre-buy inspection so you can know how nice this Westy really is. You can arrange and I will deliver it for the inspection. I am selling this for my neighbor. My name is Mike and I will get you answers for any of your questions. Happy bidding!
