Description

1953 Packard Mayfair Coupe 2361 Series. See the (2) videos below. One for proof-of-operation and, a video slideshow with photos of theoriginal sales receipt, operators manual, trans service manual and historicsales catalogs and other suchphotos. The wavey pattern that is seen in the photos of the left rear lower quarter (at and near the gas tank) is the flash reflection and the reflectioj of the 1941 61 series Cadillac that sits next to this Packard NOT bondo or metal correction. This 64 year old (1953) Packard Mayfair Hardtop Coupe is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This car is unrestored and unmolested other than the ignition switch being key-turn and push-button operated. This is a 4 owner vehicle and none of the owners ever drove it more than about 9 to 11 K miles during ownership. The car was sold to me just recently from a close family friend who knows that I love and deal in Packards and Cadillacs from days gone by. The mileage is correct and not turned over past the 100K mark. Always kept in a climate controlled garage and NEVER driven during inclement weather. While this Packard is nota concours level vehicle, it is a highly capable and presentable driver/conversation-piece/head-turner with a VERY Strong engine and transmission and 5 year old tires with plenty of tread as the car is rarely driven.
