Let me start off by telling you that I know this car pretty well since this is the 2nd time I have owned it. The first time I bought it was in 2007. At that time I bought it from the son of the original owner in California. At that time the car had 56,000 miles on it and was in near flawless condition. I had just started to get back in to the car hobby and drove it and enjoyed it for a short period of time before selling it to a great car guy in Alabama. In the 9 years he owned it he only put a little over 2000 miles on it and kept it in exactly the same condition it was in when he bought it from me 9 years ago. I had the opportunity to buy it back and immediately did so. Not only is this 2002 Trans Am Convertible an absolute blast to drive, t is without a doubt one of the future collectibles and has already started catching quite a bit of attention in the collector car market. It has all the right stuff...Rarity, s it is 1 of 549 of the Collector Edition Convertibles built in the 6-speed Manual; Documentation, s it comes with all of the original paperwork including original window sticker and original collector edition brochures; Low mileage with just 58,725 miles; Unique features including an awesome set of custom tonneau covers giving the car a roadster look and an amazing sound cat back exhaust from GMMG; Condition, s it is in amazing condition and has never been in any accidents; Last of Production as Pontiac no longer builds excitement and 2002 was the final year of the Trans Am!! This yellow beauty really has it all and is truly a car that you can truly drive and enjoy, r, imply store it and pull it out for the local shows and cruise-ins. As I mentioned the body on this 2002 Collector Edition TA Convertible is in near flawless condition. The original paint and decals all look great and this car has never been in any accidents or had any paint work. With that said, n certain light the paint on the hood appears to have faded a bit and is slightly lighter in color. There is a very small spot on the tip of the nose of the car that was touched up. There may be a few extremely minor rock chips that I may have missed but otherwise it is in fantasticcondition. The Ram Air hood has asuperaggressive look to it that really stands out. When the top is down, hich I hope is most of the time, ou have a great set of custom tonneau covers painted in matching yellow with Carbon fiber humps that give this car a roadster 2-seater look. Allof the glass is in excellentcondition. This isdefinitely a car that you will get all thelooks in and will be welcome at any car show or cruise-in! Here is a walk around tour of the body:

While I hope the next lucky owner drops the top every chance they get, f course the original power convertible top on the Trans Am is still in fantastic condition as well. When I first owned it 9 years ago I had an issue with one of the power top cylinders which was replaced under an extended warranty. The top goes up and down like new. When the top is down you have your choice of the original 3 pieces black boot covers or the custom 2-piece covers for the roadster look. Here are a few shots with the top up:


The ebony black leather interior is a great contrast to the Collector Yellow exterior. Seats are in fantastic condition with almost no wear. The screaming eagle embroidered in the head rests is a great touch on the collectors editions. Carpets and original collector floor mats look like new. Of course this car comes loaded up with goodies including power seats, ower windows, ower locks, ruise control, teering wheel radio controls, m/fm/cd with monsoon 8 speaker premium sound, 2 disc CD changer in trunk, nd much more! Awesome custom shifter knob on the manual 6-speed. The only real flaw on the interior is the problematic cracks on the door panels that just about everyone of these gets. They were on it 9 years ago when I sold it to the gentleman in alabama. Inside the trunk you will find the original embroidered trophy mat along with the original case for the 3 piece boot covers. The power plant under the hood of these '02 Trans Ams is a 5.7L LS1 rated at 325+ hp. Fresh air flows from the Ram Air hood and this motor puts down plenty of power for some stop light to stop light fun, r with the 6-speed manual you can cruise on the highway at 80 mph and get surprisingly good gas mileage. Advertised performance was 0-60 in 6 seconds and a reported 28 mpg on the highway. Current mileage is just over 58,700 miles. The only performance modification is an awesome custom cat back exhaust from GMMG. This system give this car the added growl it deserves....make sure you watch the video that follows to hear how great she sounds. The WS6 performance and handling package makes handling amazing and braking effortless. The special black 17" Factory wheels are in fantastic condition and wrapped in a great set of Falken 275/40/17 tires that have tons of tread life left. This car comes with all of the original documentation including the original window sticker and both key fobs.
