No problem. we can ship it to your front door. This rare 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa top was in the middle of a mini restoration where the owner was unable to finish it. This Supra is a rare black on black version with the leather seats. The engine was recently gone through and received upgrades to the radiator. intercooler and air intake departments. The timing belt was replaced and a new battery was installed. Assisted by a nifty push button start system. the car starts right up and the motor runs without any noticeable noises or issues. (See the video below to see and hear it running. ) The turbo spools up and the wastegate works as it should. When you drive the car. it has noticeable power when the turbo kicks in. The auto transmission shifts smoothly and responsively. Most of the gauges work with the exception of the turbo gauge. The radio and cooling system need some electrical assistance as well. There are lights on. including the check engine light. The car starts. runs. boosts drives and stops without obvious issues. On the outside of the car. it is apparent that the left fender has been replaced and the matte black paint was applied to 75% of the car. The right rear quarterpanel shows the original black paint. The car is remarkably straight and it does not appear that the paint is covering any bondo or body work. The gaps are uniform for the most part and the doors shut nice and tight. The right front wheel is the spare but the original wheel (with shredded tire) is in the trunk. There doesn't not appear to be any cancerous rust and this is likely due to the car living in California for most of its life. The interior of the car will need some TLC. The seats will need to be recovered and the dash has multiple cracks. The interior is complete and the targa top is in good shape and ready to come off for that spring drive. If you're looking for a great mini-project. this would be a great car for you. With some paint. seat covers and some elbow grease. you could have a highly-sought after Toyota Supra Turbo Targa to love and enjoy.
