Description

I am selling my *RARE* 1990 Toyota Supra with manual 5-speed transmission, targa roof, and leather interior. It is truly a wonderful car and gets a lot off attention on the road, at gas stations, and at cars and coffee. It has some value added upgrades and had been garage kept with little surface rust present to the underside. Absolutely NO ROT! Check mods and state emissions before bidding! NEVER BEEN DRIFTED! This car is a blast to drive, light weight compared to sports cars of today, can make a lot more horsepower on stock internals with minimum $$. Title in hand. Buyer should have any financing in order prior to bidding. Vehicle Qualifies for Classic Car Insurance.
Upgrades:Precision turbo front mount intercooler and piping.Hks sequential BOV. (Have bypass tube)Turbo-back 4 inch exhaust with semi-divorced Wastegate downpipe. (Surprisingly not loud but sounds awesome)Cat delete.Hks platinum plugs recent.Recent oil change Royal purple.Egr delete. (Have egr parts still)Real Carbon door sills. Will have pioneer cd/auxiliary installed (not pictured).19 inch five spoke deep dish rimsLowered on shocks and springs (no longer electronic adjust) surprisingly forgiving. With mods pushing roughly 10psi preboost cut.Carbon shift knobTiming belt and head gasket sticker said to have been done at 77k miles.Installed new/used fog lights and new bulbsClear front marker lightsSourced and installed factory Targa trunk holders.Fixed glove box mechanism, have a secondary part as well.
The good:Interior 9/10Exterior 7/10Not driven in rain or snowNever been wrecked/all original paint and panels.A/C blows super coldClean Autocheck for accidentsHave rare factory targa top wrenchTarga is scratch free.No fluids found on garage floor.
Needs sorted:Boost creep in upper gears causing fuel cut but only under heavy throttle. Needs boost controller and would recommend boost gauge and air fuel gauge, unless planning on going big power.Paint is factory single stage so it is a bit flat, but still shows well for 26 years.Area on plastic below gas panel has paint removed (see pictures) would be easy to blend and repair. Two dings on driver fender.Scratch on rear bumper.Mileage shows "Not Actual" on title but this was a mistake by previous owner who titled higher than actual when moved to Indy, that could not be corrected, I've tried. Condition speaks for itself though.Heat is marginal at the moment, all hoses are connected, so could be air controller, I've never driven it when I would really need it, so have never cared.Drivers seatback control is no longer attached but can be adjusted still, I have the piece.
Buyer is responsible for any inspections wanted and transportation. Sale is as-is and no warranty is implied or given. Will pick up from Indianapolis airport if buyer prefers to pick up. Would not hesitate to drive long distances in this car though 2.5 hours is the most I've driven it straight.
Any questions or pictures of specific items, please message, I'll do my best to respond quickly. No tire kickers, serious inquiries and bids only. I'd rather keep otherwise. These just don't come by in this condition and configuration.
