Description

Up for auction is my 1999 Volkswagen Winnebago camper van that runs and drives well. It has the VR6 engine and automatic transmission. This van has a salvage title. I purchased it at auction and intended on repairing it to take my kids across the country. not long after I got it I found another van that was ready to go. and now this one is just collecting dust in my garage. The van was hit by something on the front passenger side. resulting in the front fender and door being dented. It also tweaked the wheel well underneath the passenger door and bent the pillar between the passenger door and sliding door. There was no damage done to the suspension or undercarriage. I purchased and installed a new passenger front fender and door. The only thing left to do is straighten the wheel well below the front passenger door and the pillar between the passenger door and the sliding door. There are some light scratches on the sliding door. and the rear bumper cover behind the passenger rear tire is a little messed up. Regardless of the body damage. which is strictly cosmetic. all of the doors open and close as they should. All of the paint on the van is in good shape for its age and is shiny. The van steers and brakes well. all the lights and indicators work properly. the interior of the van is in decent shape. however please note that it is missing the refrigerator. rear bench seat. the cabinet door beside the refrigerator. and a piece that goes under the eyes of the stove. Aside from these items. everything works on the van. The air conditioning and heater work well. as does the furnace. LP system. and water system for the sink and rear shower. The pop top has brand-new locking struts to raise and hold the roof up. The van also has a trailer hitch. This van spent its entire life in Tennessee. so it's not loaded with rust like so many of them from up north. Included are all the original VW and Winnebago manuals. Here is your chance to buy and easy fixer-upper. these things in good shape go for a fortune. I have tried to represent the van as best I can. however I would encourage anyone interested in the van to come check it out in person if possible. Feel free to ask any questions that you might have. but please do so before bidding. If you are not local and need to have the van shipped. I am happy to drop it off at any local Roanoke Virginia shipping depot. Being as this is a used car. it is being sold as-is. Thank you for looking!
