1966 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible

Very smooth driving. good quality '66 Galaxie 500 XL convertible. 390 engine. 4 barrel. Bucket seats with auto trans center console. Convertible top operates well. Power steering and power brakes. Awesome to drive around. take to car shows. gets a lot of attention. Really attractive light green color. beautiful flowing lines. Interior space and leg room is ridiculous! The pictures don't do this baby justice. All components working except clock. Improvements made include: new fuel pump. new transmission gasket and seals. new engine valve cover gaskets. new rear portion of convertible top with new glass (not plastic) just did oil and filter change. Some rust on bottom edge of doors. Had rust proofing done to the under carriage. Great weekend driver. Sometimes used as my daily driver. Not a trailer queen! This Galaxie is meant to be driven. enjoyed. and bring joy to others! A blast to drive with the top down. More pics available! Paint is decent. not a show car. paint showing dings. chips. imperfections. For show car quality. consider a repaint. A minor engine oil drop here and there (common with these older cars).
