2005 Acura RSX Type S 6-Speed 68,500 miles - STOCK - ALL FACTORY OEM - NEVER MODIFIED IN ANYWAY (Factory OEM VIN stamped on all parts)
ONLY 2 owners
Clean Title - Never been in an accident or have any work done to it
All parts of OEM - Besides the brakes and tires - I had those replaced as they are obviously wear and tear items. But other than brakes and tires, I've never had to replace anything. Never had a check engine light, never had to bring it to a mechanic or body guy for repairs. Only scheduled maintenance.
Power windows, power locks, power sunroof, BOSE System, 6-disc CD changer, Cassette (for those who know what that is), 6-Speed Manual transmission, Leather seats (No tears or worn spots), i-VTEC 2.0 DOHC Engine, Factory Installed Alarm System
Alright, so the story with this diamond in the rough:
A few years ago, I used to live in NC and by chance I was in an Acura Dealership and sitting on the showroom floor was this 2005 Acura RSX Type S with only 27,000 miles on it with 1 owner: a 74 year old woman (not kidding.) who only averaged about 2,700 miles per year. I didn't believe it at first either but the Car Fax trail proved the sales guy story. Win!
So since the RSX Type S was my all time love of my life, I obviously bought it. This car is MINT! The seats don't even have creases or 11years of wear and tear that it should have. The car looks like it belongs on a showroom floor.
I've never had a single issue with the car. It's been a dream car to drive. I'm in my 30s, so I never beat on the car. I work in the automotive field so I've always known the value of taking care of a car and I've babied this car because I know how rare of a find it is.
The ONLY reason I'm looking to sell this perfect car - My wife is pregnant with our first child and we need an SUV. She loves and drives this car as much as I do, but we need to do the grown up thing and get a more baby-friendly SUV. If it weren't for that, I would literally never sell this car because there is NO OTHER RSX TYPE S LIKE THIS IN THE WORLD. And I'm not just saying that because a 74 years old woman owned this car for the first 9years and hardly drove it but did oil changes and scheduled maintenance according to time (every 3 months) instead of mileage..can't make this ish up. I'm sure I was the first person to go over 50mph in this car. And I work with cars all day everyday, so I know how to take care of a car..especially a car like this.
$12,000 - or best offer.
I just put new brake pads & rotors on today (9/9)
