I bought this shell as a stripped body being prepared for SCCA racing, ntending to restore it to street use. I mounted it on a rotisserie, eplaced floors, runk floor, ad it media blasted inside and out. It was stripped by a shop familiar with classic and collector cars, sing plastic media, alnut shells, ome glass bead, ome silica, o achieve completely clean surfaces with no warpage or damage to delicate sheet metal.
From bare metal, t was etched, rimed, nd painted with single-stage acrylic appropriate for the vintage of the car, n a version of red similar to Alfa Rosso.
The undercarriage was coated in urethane coating, imilar to bedliner, inted to match the paint, o protect the underbody from chips, ust or other damage.
I have owned the shell for about 20 years; it has been in wrapped, ry storage for over ten years following completion of bodywork.
I have no mechanicals for the car at all, o trim, o other parts than the shell as you see it. I have dozens of photos of the restoration process, hich I will email upon serious request.
Fusi history indicates the car was manufactured as a late 1962 Giulia Spider; S/N AR 101.23.372729
I have no title for the car; it will sell with a Bill of Sale.
Contact me through eBay with any questions. I will help the buyer load on your transport; I might include the homemade trolley it is resting on.
