Alfa Romeo GTV (916) V6 3.0 1997. Rare in the USA. Delivery Available

Rob @ (925) 307-6278It's rare enough to find a Alfa GTV 916 in the USA. but this one has the V6 3 L . 24 V motor. The VIN does not register with eBay. This is probably so because the vehicle was never intended for the US market. Please find below a copy of the builder's plate showing the VIN number:For sale is a 1997 Alfa 916 GTV. To my knowledge. there are only three 916's in the US. so it's a very rare find. This Alfa has the much desired but hard to find V6 3. 0L 24V motor and so there's no turbo lag like the smaller 2. 0 turbo cousin. It also has a factory spoiler and upgraded 17" color-matched wheels with Alfa inserts. Winning bidder will receive a clear Ohio title that should transfer to any state except California. The winning bidder will also receive via email a scanned copy of the title at the conclusion of the auction. Mechanically. absolutely everything works on the car. Timing belt was replaced at approximately 62. 00 miles. I will do an oil change for the winning bidder. AC blows cold. Car does not leak fluids or blow smoke. The only issue that may need attention is the air bag light is illuminated. The air bag light needs to be reset by a Fiat/Alfa dealer. It's my understanding that the recommended preventative maintenance interval requires a dealer to reset this light every 5 years. Cosmetically the car is nearly perfect. The wheels are less then a year old and have no curb rash. The car spent nearly its entire life south of Tokyo. Japan where the climate is very mild. Therefore. the underside of the car looks incredibly free of corrosion or rust. Inside. the car has a black/tan theme. Front seats are tan leather and rear seats are black leather. Leather insets in the door are tan with black plastic. Leather upholstery has just one tear on the passenger side where the seat belt comes across the occupant (see pic below). The car is available for inspection just about anytime. but please call first to arrange for an appointment. I travel quite a bit and want to make certain to be available. Free airport transportation from BUF (Buffalo. NY). I'm retired military and have time on my hands to deliver the car but contact me first prior to bidding for a quote. My insurance will not cover the delivery as it's considered "auto service". Therefore if I deliver. a comprehensive insurance policy will need to be obtained by the winning bidder before delivery. A $2. 00 deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction. Balance is due when the vehicle is picked up or within 7 days. whichever comes first.
