1978 450 SL one owner, completely original with only 428--miles.

Not the normal 450SL for sale.The car is part of my collection and I am now paring the collection down. The car is a two owner car with only 43863 miles. The car was bought in Memphis by the first female owner and picked up at the factory on a European delivery. After a few years in Memphis it was taken to the ladies summer house in Wisconsin where it spent the rest of its time until I bought it 5 years ago.
The car was kept indoor hence its all original excellent condition both outside and interior. The paint is beautiful and there is no evidence of any repair. The interior including dash is as perfect as can be found with coco mats and everything works.The drivers seat does not have the normal wear on the rear bolster from entering and existing. All glass is perfect including the hardtop and soft top.The black soft top looks like it was never been used with the frame looking brand new. In fact, very well may of been the first person to ever raise it!
The pictures of the underside show there is no rust and how well preserved the car is.
The car runs perfect and the engine compartment is all original and looks great.
The original factory books, andbook and European delivery package are in the glovebox together the original touch up paint container which is still fluid!The original complete tool bag is still in the plastic bag
The following are the none original parts, he chrome wheels and tires which I put on 4 years ago, ith less than 500 miles. The original date stamped wheels and 700 mile tires are included. The door edges have correct chrome protectors. Also the car comes with a front protective bra and a wind deflector that makes top down driving much more enjoyable.
