extremely rare 1969 Alfa Romeo Duetto Boattail convertible. Finished in the highly desirable Carmen red with black leather roadster, bsolutely defies showing it’s age, nd still day shows very strong. This Pinninfarina designed recently restored spider is 1 of only 6,341 produced between 1966 and 1967.The Alfa Romeo Spider is a roadster produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1966 to 1993—with small run of 1994 models for the North American market. The Spider remained in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. To choose a name for the spider Alfa Romeo announced a write-in competition, ffering an example of the new car as a prize. Over 100 thousand ballots were sent in; the winner proposed the name Duetto (duet). However the Duetto name could not be officially adopted due to Trademark issues, nd the car was named simply Alfa Romeo Spider 1600.”
