This Alfa has the potential to be a stunning car!
I purchased this car in California 6 years ago with the intent to restore it.I replaced the master and slave clutch and brake cylinders tuned it up, drove it around for the day and took it to my friend's body shop for restoration. The car had no significant rust except around the rear windows, the middle of the passenger floor and the back of the trunk area. The body shop stripped the car to mostly bare metal as you can see in the photos. The interior was never removed and is in remarkable original condition.A period correct after market see through sunroof was installed prior to my ownership. The dash was cracked from the California sun and has a cap installed. The body shop kept the car for 3 years working on it as time allowed. Unfortunately my friend had a hand injury and is no longer able to finish the project.
I picked up the Alfa a couple of weeks ago and I am selling it as a running project.I hooked up a fuel pump and a fresh battery and it started right up after sitting for 3 years! It will undoubtedly need service to be reliable but you can watch the video of it running well.
The car is complete, but there may be a few trim pieces missing, please look at he numerous photos and videos. All glass is present.
This is a solid California car that deserves to be restored and enjoyed.Restoration pieces are included for the passenger floor and the left rear window rust areas. The videos speak for themselves. This is not a barn find, it is a solid, running GTV.
Please only bid to buy.
Miles exemptAS IS.Will assist with pickup at buyers expense.I have turned in the Ca title and have applied for an Indiana title in my name.I expect to have it within ten days.
I can store the car for two weeks after auction end.If the car is not paid in full and picked up by then, it will be relisted.
