I am selling my 1993 Alfa Romeo spider twin spark.
This car was imported from Italy by the previous owner and is one of maybe five in the country.
In 1992 Alfa Romeo completely redesigned and updated the aging spider platform which had been around since the 70s. The new car was a completely new vehicle with a unibody structure that was twice as stiff as the previous cars. The engine was updated with the twin spark four-cylinder.
The interior was completely redesigned with leather anatomic seats and improved instrumentation.
This car is in excellent condition with no corrosion issues whatsoever and other than a few door dings is in amazing condition. It runs smoothly shifts wonderfully and is respectably quick.
I have further stiffened the chassis with crossmembers on the front struts and stiffening members in the front and mid section. The car drives like it is on rails.
This is a unique car that turns heads everywhere it goes. Maintenance is simple and parts are abundant on line as this platform sold very well in Europe.
The timing belt and water pump were replaced just a few hundred miles ago.
I am very confident on the condition of this car and I would drive it anywhere today. The matte black Borbets set it off nicely.
If you're looking for a unique vehicle that is fun to drive and will not cost you a lot this is something you should consider.
The car spent most of his life in inland Florida so he has no corrosion issues. The only item that needs attention is the rear window which is heavily fogged from the sun.The odometer is in Kilometers and reads 75k. Due to that the car is sold miles exempt. It can be converted to miles by Palo Alto Speedo very reasonably. The console has the Ferrari stickiness syndrome and the car comes with a spare one.
THE VIN ON THE LISTING IS FROM MY OTHER ALFA BECAUSE EBAY DOES NOT RECOGNIZE EUROPEAN VINS.
The VIN is ZAR91600006020946
Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding. The car is sold AS IS with no warranty expressed or implied. Any bidders with less than 10 feedback entries, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING! PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE! The car is located in Indianapolis and I can be flexible with shipping arrangements. The Buyer is responsible for all pick-up and shipping arrangements and costs.Vehicle must be paid in full with certified funds within 3 days after the auction ends, $500 PAYPAL deposit the day of purchase. Thanks again for looking, and HAPPY BIDDING!!
