1962 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA SPIDER 1600 NORMALE
101.23 Body Style
This is an actual barn find car. Stored in a rural shed, some 30 plus years ago, by the second owner, after driving it only a few years.
Believed to be a matching numbers car. Still in original dress of white with black interior.
This car is an excellent candidate for restoration.
Car is very straight, with no apparent accident damage or bodywork being done.
The doors which are in very good shape, close well, and the lines are excellent as verified in the many pictures provided.
Rockers appear solid, as do the inner sills, end caps, and thresholds, with no apparent rust through.
Frame rails appear solid.
The floors show original paint separating, but still appear in decent shape.
The under hood area is in amazing shape. Motor is stuck, but is very complete.
Top frame, seats, and dashboard with gauges are all present and intact.
Glass is present, but due to something happening while stored, the windshield was broken, and will need to be replaced.
There are no tools or spare parts.
Chrome is rusty, and will need to be replaced.
There is some rust, most of which is confined to the rear. Mostly in sides of the trunk, and lower rear quarters and valance. (see pictures)
I have described this car to the best of my ability.
Please give the pictures and description I have provided proper attention before bidding.
I will try to make myself available for any questions you may have.
Car is being sold as is where is, with a bill of sale only, as Maine is a non-title state for vehicles of this vintage.
A Reg. in my name for those that require it, can be gotten at buyer's expense, as there are ins and paperwork charges involved.
A non-returnable deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of auction close.
All shipping arrangements, and costs thereof, are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
