Just in time for spring and summer driving - don't miss this insanely low price on a piece of Italian automotive history. Please read the entire description. I pride myself in perfect descriptions for eBay. and if you'll read my Feedback you'll find that I tend to under-promise and over-deliver. I often warn buyers that if it sound too good to be true. it probably is. This Alfa Spider is the exception -- it is better than I could ever describe here. We must sell this fabulous antique Italian sports car because we are moving out of the county and she simply can't go with us. Otherwise. I'd never part with my baby. This car was presented to me in 1999 as a birthday gift from my husband. We were the second owners and since 1999 have driven it. on average. less than 50 miles per month. So you're looking at a very low-mileage antique vehicle with a broken odometer. Keep reading and you'll understand its low mileage. Tires are new. clear title. Original convertible top in great condition with clear rear-view window. which tells you that it has always (ALWAYS) been garage-kept and usually under its cloth cover. Convertible-top's original tanto cover also in great condition. Interior is original and in excellent condition (except for the seats) -- not a single crack in the dashboard. steering wheel. gear shift. etc. Check out the photos of the beautiful wood on the steering wheel and gear shift -- all original! The car has sheepskin covering the original leather seats; and. yes. the seats could use some refurbishment. The only other items of note (see photos) are the tiny dings on the driver-side side-mirror. a very tiny dent (absolutely no rust) near the gasoline intake. and a scuff smaller than the size of a stick of chewing gum on the nose of the vehicle (again. scuffed. but no rust). Please feel free to contact me with questions. Here's where it gets even better: we can put you in touch with the vehicle's mechanic. who has done all work on this car since it was purchased in 1999. Dan knows this car inside and out and is a mechanic who specializes in Italian masterpieces -- mostly very high-end Italian cars. It is important to note that other than oil changes and tune-ups. this Alfa has never (NEVER) had or required any engine work -- does that tell you how it's been loved and cared for?! So let's talk about that broken odometer. It's odd. Sometimes it doesn't move at all. Other times. you can go around the block and it will roll from 100. 00 to 500. 00 in just a few hundred yards. While living abroad from 2010 to 2012 this vehicle was not driven at all -- not even around the block. Upon my return. Dan replaced all the fuel lines; and that has been the only work ever required on the car. You should also note that from 2004 to 2013. I put less than 5000 miles on the car as it was driven. nbsp;at most about one weekend a month on pretty days. Yes. it's true! This has always been my "second car. so it's only been driven for fun. If you are in North Texas. contact me to discuss the possibility of a test drive as not just anyone will be allowed behind the wheel of this valuable antique. We're doing this as a standard auction-style sale. Highest bidder wins. and with this insanely low reserve. it is priced to sell. Happy bidding.
