1966 Mustang Black 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV that is in excellent condition and is an absolute blast to drive!!! This Alfa was restored by its previous owner to be an excellent driver. The engine has been treated to a quality rebuild several years ago and runs incredibly well today and even retains its original factory SPICA fuel injection. The transmission was also rebuilt. and suspension and brakes were also gone through as well. The car was then treated to a beautiful paint job a few years ago and looks fantastic. The interior was reupholsered at this time as well and looks great. The car looks beautiful and is a great find. The fit of the hood. trunk and doors on the car lines up beautifully. and the doors still open and close like the car did when it was brand new. The car runs and drive absolutely beautifully. It fires right up and the throttle is extremely responsive. the brakes are powerful and has a firm pedal. the suspension is very tight and the car handles great with its brand new KONI Red shocks. This car actually pulls very strongly and is quite quick. The grill is in excellent shape as is the rest of the bright work. This is a RUST FREE CALIFORNIA CAR!!! Click to enlarge Exterior: This beautiful Alfa Romeo GTV looks great finished in Red. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine. When they painted this car they really did a nice job. The panel lines up great and all of the doors. hood and trunk all open and shut with ease and have a solid feel. The body is very straight and "flat" with little if any waves. This car was painted several years ago and still looks really nice. You could take this to a weekend show or use it as a daily driver. When the car was painted it was done properly and the glass was removed and seals etc. The bottom side of the car is quite remarkable. I have found no evidence of floor pan replacement and the floor pans are rust free. The only part that appears to have been patched is the spare tire well (very common as there wasn't sufficent drainage in the spare tire well) The car really has a great look with its beautiful classic Italian body and gorgeous true freshly polished Minilite alloy wheels wrapped in brand new tires. The stainless steel bumpers have been polished and the chrome finish on the grill is like new! Also the badges on the C pilar are brand new as well. This car just has that iconic Italian look that still grabs everyones attention 40 years later. Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful Black interior of this Alfa is like in great condition. The interior is in excellent shape showing very minor wear. The front seats are in excellent shape and are free of stains and tears. The wood on the dash and console have been refinished and looks excellent. All of the gauges are working in excellent condition as are all of the knobs and controls. The only thing that isn't working at the moment is the horn. The back seat is in very nice condition as well and all of the seats are very comfortable as the foam looks to be in excellent condtition. The interior was topped of with a factory wood "Personal" steering wheel that looks great and feels good in your hands. The headliner is in excellent shape as well. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to be. Click to enlarge Engine: The original Alfa Twin Cam fires right up and runs like a top. This engine. like the rest of the car. has been well cared for and was treated to a rebuild previously in its life. The car starts right up and does not blow any smoke on start up. The car runs incredibly smooth and never skips a beat. Whether you are at 900rpm or 6. 00 rpm the car runs incredibly smooth. This car. and my Ferrari mechanic will agree. pulls very strong for an Alfa and is quite impressive. This GTV also has excellent throttle response and great power. The engine has very strong oil pressure as well and stays nice and cool in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The rebuilt transmission shift perfectly through all the gears and the clutch feels great and is not exhibiting any slipping whatsoever. The gear change is so nice and smooth on this car. the gear lever moves with ease and has a great feel. The 4 wheel disc brakes stop the car incredibly well and have a great solid feel and feature stainless steel braided brake lines. The car tracks down the road straight as an arrow and feels solid driving down the road. All of the lights. signals. are in great working order. This car features freshly polished Mini-lite wheels with brand new tires!!! This car goes down the highway at 80mph with ease!!! This is an extremely reliable car. This car has also recently been treated to a fresh oil change. brand new KONI Red shocks. a brand new exhaust system as well as a rebuilt driveshaft and bearing.
