1961 Rambler Cross Country Classic Station Wagon. Drive train is from a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. 403ci. TH350 transmission. rear end and radiator. Rear end has air shocks. Motor has less than 2000 miles on it since rebuild. Sits right and looks good! In great condition. runs and drives well. Paint has some orange peel to it. but it has still won awards at car shows. Interior has new carpeting and door panels. Seats are covered with blankets. but are solid underneath. The car is nice. but could use some final finishing: stereo is working and mounted behind the original one. but needs detailing to clean it up. I've planned on re-covering the seats. but haven't got around to it. Same with the interior trim and dash. they look okay but could use finishing. I guess no rod is ever completely finished. as there is always something to change or improve upon. This car attracts more attention than any car I've owned. It seems that everyone has a Rambler story they want to share with you when you drive it. Includes California Car Cover. original black CA plates. original owners manual. extra gauges by Dolphin. brochures and mechanics book.
