1979 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible - 14,932 Original Miles

With only 14,932 original miles and almost all of the original equipment, his beetle could best be described as a "survivor car". The body is in excellent shape with only a few minor scratches and imperfections. New padding and cables were installed in the the backs of the front seats by the award winning "Richmond Upholstery"out of Richmond Vermont. Wheels were professionally sand blasted and painted and new fender guards were installed on the rear fenders. The convertible top is original equipment and is in excellent condition to include the vinyl covering. Even the tires are original with the spare tire sporting the factory installed wheel weight.

The radio knobs need to be replaced as well as some of the plastic hardware on the side of the drivers seat.

Notable features include factory installed fog lights, ir conditioning and a rare Eberspacher gas heater as seen under the front hood.

I acquired this car from an estate auction in Greensboro Vermont two years ago and I am the third owner. The last owner was a well known historian and author and it is obvious that he was dedicated to maintaining the car. I have supporting documents to show where maintenance was performed as well as the documented mileage each time. The original window sticker was in the glove box when I purchased the car as well.
