You may have a few options when considering the purchase of a luxury grand touring car, but only one brand holds a Royal Warrant. Price Charles was so enamored with the quality and luxury of the brand, that he gave them an official endorsement from the House of Windsor. Aston-Martin has been building cars by hand since 1913, refusing to adopt automation and mass production to ensure the quality of old world craftsmanship. Comparing a DB9 to its competitors, its easy to see why David Brown resisted the urge to automate the assembly line. This car stands out in our inventory because it offers a fit and finish than can't be reproduced by a machine. Each body panel is hammered and formed by people who take pride in their trade, and the 6.0L V12 was signed by the man who assembled it. Twelve cylinder engines are twice as balanced as any V8 could ever hope to be, and they make power from idle to redline. Aside from the carefully tuned exhaust note, you won't notice this car is running until you unleash the accelerator. Over 457 lb-ft of torque are available at almost every RPM, which means the six speed automatic transmission puts power to the ground in every gear. Put this car in manual mode and drop it to 6th gear and you will realize why Aston-Martin did not offer a V8 in the DB9. Drop it to 3rd gear and you will have 510 horsepower on tap.No wheezy turbos or superchargers, this car makes power the old fashioned way. The Ceramic Grey paint is applied by hand, and sanded to perfection. Hand sewn obsidian leather and carbon fiber trim are an elegant combination of old and new. Nothing quantifiable on a window sticker can convey the pride and quality that Aston-Martin puts into each car, so allow me to show you all the finer details of this English Supercar.
