1998 Audi A4 Quattro

For Sale: 1998 Audi A4. Car has been well taken care of but is not needed any longer. Rear seats are too small for child car seats. With a new baby on the way this car has got to go. Vehicle has the rare 2.8 liter v6 and 5 speed manual. Original clutch, otor and transmission. I purchased this vehicle with 165,000 miles. Has been a very good vehicle.Free delivery (driving) may be possible depending on bidders location.

The good:

Timing belt, ater pump, am adjusters and seals replaced at 165,000 miles.

replaced right rear brake caliper, ads less than 10,000 miles ago.

New cross drilled brake rotors and pads on all 4 wheels.

New bosch +4 platinum plugs and K&N air filterless then 20,000 miles ago.

Fresh oil change.

No rips in the seats.

Lights, urn signals, eater controls and heated seats all work.

The bad:

high mileage motor. Oil has started to push out of oil filler cap. Motor still runs strong and starts great.

Alternator has trouble maintaining 13.5+ volts under high load like AC on with high fan with lights on. Under normal driving the charge system is fine. replacement alt brushes included in purchase.

Controller knob for sun roof broken. Wouldn't close so I removed fuse to eliminate malfunction. is currently in closed position

Average paint/body condition. Screw holes on trunk deck from previous owner wing.

Exhaust has been modified by previous owner. May not pass state test. Not a issue in North Dakota but may be in your state. Check before bidding.

Air bag light is on. System may not function.

Cruise control does not set.
