Now that Christmas is over and a new year is here, t is time to think about CARS!
Very nice, are, oaded, nbsp;rust free, 966 Chevrolet Impala 9-passerger station wagon. It has factory power windows (all working), ower steering, ower brakes, ilt steering column, emote outside mirror (driver's side), -way flashers, riginal factory roof rack and 6 original delux seat belts. The factory am radio and clock are present, ot working, nd I have not diagnosed why. This car has been built to be a great driver and not a show car, lthough it l shows well. The 1966, nbsp;327, -barrell engine has been built to 350 h.p. with camelback heads (ported and polished with new valves and hardened seats), oller rockers, RW flat top pistons, erformance cam, ll new, balanced and professionally built. Transmission is a refurbished powerglide that runs through a 12-bolt rear end. Exhaust starts with 2 1/2" Corvette exhaust manifolds followed by a new 2 1/2" exhaust system front to rear with cross-over pipe. The suspension has been totally rebuilt with new front and rear springs, hocks, all joints etc. A new power brake booster with dual master cylinder, roportioning valve and front disk brakes have been installed for safety, Rear brakes are OEM drums. Brand new American Racing alloy rims and new BFG T/A radial tires (215x70R15 front and 255x70R15 rear) have been installed. The car has been driven less than 1200 miles since all mechanical work has been completed. Original mileage is unknown. It runs and drives great, ith no issues. I would drive this car anywherewithout hesitation.
The car has been repainted in the original willow green, ndnew front and rearseats, oor panels, ash pad, nbsp;headliner and carpets installed.The3rd seat is original to the car and did not need new upholstery. While all of this is very nice and presentable, consider it driver quality. There is one nickel size chip under the windshield trim that has been carefully touched up. Car comes with touch-up paint. All glass is good and most of the chrome is original to the car--not bad but with some nicks, mall dings and some pitting. This car isa nice daily driver that needs nothing . I am told the car spent most of its life in Southern California, nd was an original black plate California car (hence no rust). If you add up everything done to this car, tis much greater than my reserve, ot including theoriginal cost of the car. I love station wagons and purchased the car to use while I am finishinga 1953 Chrysler Town and Country Hemi wagon.I have several other wagons, o this one is not getting driven like it should. It is garage stored and I don't drive it in the rain. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the eBay auction at anytime. If the car is sold outside of Oregon, he vintage license plate does not go with the car. Feel free to contact me at (971) 235-3804 with your questions or for an inspection.
