SHELBY GT350H Hertz Rent a Racer Tribute Factory Black/Black Original Sheetmetal

You are looking at a incredible 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. This car is built to honor the very rare and prestigious Shelby GT350H, lso know as the Hertz Rent-A-Racer. True originals fetch in excess of $200,000 and you wouldn't dare drive them out of fear that someone may crash into you. This car started life as an original C-Code car with the 289 CI V8 and a 4 Speed Manual. It was born with Factory Black Paint and Black Interior. It now runs down the road great with ice cold A/C and 1994 Mustang GT 5.0L motor and T5 transmission. It retains the smooth idle factory roller cam, opped with a Edelbrock aluminum intake and Holley Carb. Getting all the power to the ground is a Granada 9" Ford Rear with 3.00 gears and 4 wheel disc brakes turning Shelby wheels and BFG tires. To keep the car rigid it has a 4 point roll bar that is tucked in nicely. It also has Total Control subframe connectors and subframe cross member and Traction Master under ride traction bars. The car still retains all of it's factory sheet metal with the exception of the fiberglass Shelby style hood with low tension hood springs. Even the floor and trunk pans are original to the car.
The car is only a 2 owner car with the second owner owning it since 1969 when he purchased it from a co-worker. It has lived most of it's life garage kept in Georgia and comes with a open Georgia title.
The inside of the car is every bit as nice as the outside with lots of new and original items. This car is very, ery nice. It is way nicer than a "driver" but not quite a full blown show car. I would consider it better than most cars at your local car show. I am assisting the sale of this car with a very private owner.
