1969 and 1971 Jeepster Commandos

The brown Jeep is the 1971 model. This Jeep has been in our family since 1980. My dad started working on it many years ago with intentions of doing a restoration. He pulled the carburetor and began some work then ran out of time to work on it. He purchased the white 1969 model toshare parts for the restoration.

The brown Jeep has some damage to the hood and front left fender. The interior metal is in good shape. The white Jeep has some rust in the floor and the interior is not in quite as good shape as the brown 1971. The engine in the white Jeep does run, nd we just cranked it and let it run for a bit. The brakes are out on the white Jeep and will need work to restore function - likely wheel cylinders. This would be expected for the age of the vehicle andthe time it has been sitting. Both Jeeps have been stored under cover.

Our intention was to share parts between the two Jeeps to restore the brown Jeep. We chose the brown Jeep to be the primary vehicle due to its history within our family. My son and I also have limited time to work on the Jeeps, o we would like to see these vehicles go to a good home where they will finallyget the attention they deserve.
