Description |

I purchased this car in October from another Audi enthusiast. Priorities have changed and I need garage space for a new vehicle. This is my 9th Audi, o I am no stranger to the brand.
Exterior: Pretty solid shape for the year. Some bumper rash front and rear from parking. There are some light scratches on the hood, oof, and trunk lid, long with some small dents in the same area (perfect for a paintless dent removal).
Interior: Really nice shape. Leather is still very supple and extremely comfy. Car comes with original carpet mats. Rear portion of headliner is sagging (see photo). Really great shape!
This is a Cold Weather and Premium Package car!
Recent work/notes by PO (roughly 1000 miles ago)
New Battery
Full Fluid flush on brakes
New rear rotors/pads
New Front Rotors
Full timing belt service w/ coolant flush
Fresh Oil change w/ OEM filter and Mobil 1 oil
Tires have 70% life left
Zero play in tie rods/control arms/suspension
New windshield
NO Oil leaks!
Recent work done by me (within 500 miles)
New flex joints
New valve cover and cam tensioner gaskets
New plugs and wires
Recent finds
- Pixelation in center dash. I had planned on fixing this if I were going to keep the car.
- Sagging rear headliner
- Bose Speakers (mainly rear) rattle
- Drivers front tire has slow leak (maybe 5lbs of air every few weeks)
- Recent vag com scan netted a coolant temp sensor code. Parts to fix are around $20 and 20 minutes of your time. CEL is on for this reason.
- Car can take up to 5 seconds to start due to coolant temp sensor code
- Low speed noise coming from drivers front wheel (goes away when brakes applied). I have not looked into this, ut it may be the brake pad not seating properly.
- Sunroof switch needs cleaned
- Car has 3 keys, ut none of the remotes are programmed to the car for unlock/lock
- It appears the rear sunroof drains were fixed at some point (staining at the C pillars). No leaks of any kind now.
- Ashtray does not pull out
- At some point in its life, small animal ate away part of the underhood insulation.
Overall this car is great, ut it is 15 years old (which is tough to imagine). Car drives very well and the engine is strong and smooth. Car shifts excellent, lutch grabs great. With all of the recent work over the past 1000 miles this car is good to go for quite some time. With all the service over the past 1000 miles the car is ready for you to drive it anywhere you desire.
