History: I bought this car from a dealer in Vermont and I have driven it to work and back for the past 3 years (my commute is brookfield CT to danbury CT 5 days a week so all good roads with minimal potholes. I have never had an accident and nothing has even been significantly damaged. I have fixed the thermostat and oil valves once or twice. And taken it to the mechanic whenever any check engine light issue arose. I take very good care of the car and it has done the same for me.
Shipping and Payment: Unfortunately I am private seller, uyer to paytitle transfer, vernight shipping fees, nd other wire fees.On Jun-21-16 at 10:26:54 PDT, eller added the following information:
UPDATE based on Multiple Questions: 1. Q. The Autocheck shows a minor issue with a Rollback of the Odometer: Do you know what that was?Answer: I have owned the car now for 3 years. My wife and I have never rolled back the mileage and we believe this was an error on the part of one of the mechanic shops that we took the car to over these three years. Apparently after doing futher investigation I spoke to Midstate Hyundai up at Vermont where I had bought the car : They Also do not have any history of a rollback. They sold the car to me at around 47,000 miles and someone incorrectly listed 42,000 when we first got the car repaired at a routine mechanic shop. Unfortunately this kind of thing happens frequently I am told and it is almost impossible to get it erased. You would have to go find which mechanic shop made the error (one of the people I took it back has closed his shop and returned to Brazil). And once you find out who it is you would then have to have them call autocheck and Carfax and even then it might not be removed. I have moved to Boston and cannot do this so unfortunately this is the best answer I can give to all buyers out there is that there is a minor rollback of around 5000 miles on the Odometer. I am not sure what it means. I had bought the car with a clean carfax and have never rolled it back for any reason. In fact rolling the mileage back by 5000 miles would not significantly affect the price of the car in any way so doing this would just be plain stupid in my opinion. Hope that helps.
2. Is the car available to be seen prior to the end date of the Auction?Answer: Yes you may visit my father-in-law where the car is currently parked in Danbury. Contact me on my cellphone and I will set up a time for him to show you the car at his house. Again unfortunately I have left Connecticut and cannot come back to show someone the car. For that reason I think its best to have all potential buyers visit the car at one location.
3. Is there a Lien on the Vehicle?Answer: Yes. Chyrsler Capital currently has a lien on the vehicle. Which I will pay off in full once I get payment from buyers. I cannot tell you how much the Lien is that is my personal business but once I have received full payment. I will pay the lien and the title will be transferred to me within 2 weeks. At that Point I can release the Car and Title to the buyers. Unfortunately this is the Law and I have been scammed once already since I started trying to sell this car. As a Result I would recommend a Certified Bank Check or Cash in hand as the fastest options. A personal check takes 7 business days to clear (yes tried that once already) which adds to the 2 week wait to get the title.
4. Can I take the car home before I get the title? No. This is a high risk situation for me. If I give someone the Car without the title and they commit a crime etc the Title is still in my name. I am liable. Sorry.
5. Do I ship to canada?Answer: No I do not ship to canada. I would prefer if you picked up the car locally as I have never shipped a Car before and this might be confusing however if you are willing to set up shipping and payment I will be happy to assist. I do not want to incur additional expenses at my cost.
