Description |

I am selling my 2003 Audi RS6 premium (genuine burl-wood trim and alcantara headliner). I have owned and used this fine automobile as a daily driver for the past four and a half years and 30k miles. As you can see from the pictures, it is clean and well maintained, inside and out. Additionally, as a Master Mechanic, I have meticulously maintained and even improved this car during my ownership.
Chronology:89k - Purchased vehicle
90k - Replace transmission (brand new unit from Audi, Germany), radiator, oil cooler, timing belt service (timing belt, idler & tensioner pullies, water pump, thermostat, cam & crank seals), rebuilt both turbo chargers, and replaces rubber vacuum lines with platinum cured silicone hoses.
92k - Replace front brake rotors with JH Motorsport lightened, slotted, two-piece rotors with Hawks HPS Street pads, installed BBS 19" rims, and 27% window tint.
115k - Replaced front lower control arms with Mehle HD units with Powerflex race urethane bushings, front upper control arms with SPC Performance camber and caster adjustable units, outer tie rod ends with Meyle HD units, replaced stock diverter valves with rebuildable billet aluminum units, and replaced front swaybar bushings with Powerflex race urethane bushings.
120k - Installed General tires (275/35R19) on all four corners, 10mm hub-centric wheel spacers (to accommodate the wider tires), rolled the fenders, and had the alternator rebuilt with all genuine Bosch internals.
125k - Replaced rear brake rotors with JH Motorsport lightened, slotted, two-piece rotors with Hawks HPS Street pads both front and rear (fronts still had 6mm of life)
- I have religiously changed the oil every 5k with LiquiMoly 5W40 synthetic oil and a Mann filter. I have also flushed the brake and power steering fluid using BG synthetic fluids within the past six months. There are no warning lights illuminated on the car at all (i.e. CEL, ABS, etc.)
While the car is indeed clean, it is in fact 13 years old. There is some minor wear on the door panel switches and headlight switch; however, they function fine. The driver center display in the gauge cluster tends to bleed out a bit when it is hot out; again, functions fine when cool.
Lastly, the car does still have a lien against it so the transaction will be handled through escrow.com. Once you have won the auction, simply send me a $500 deposit through Paypal and we will conclude the transaction using escrow.com's services. You will pay the balance of the sale amount to them, not to me, and I will cover their expenses out of my end of the transaction; tags, tax, title, and transportation will be your responsibility. Both Paypal and escrow.com are secured services so you need not worry about the transaction as they will be secure and guaranteed.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. As I have been the actual owner of the vehicle for the past few years, I have quite a bit of information regard the car. Good luck and happy bidding.
UPDATE: I have had a couple of offers from some pretty nice people that were below my minimum asking price; I accepted none of them. I feel that, given the mileage, condition, and number of quality parts and upgrades listed above, the minimum asking price is MORE than fair. If you agree, please make an offer; if not, please see the other listings for RS6s or take your chances at an auction. The price is negotiable but I am in NO rush to undersell my RS6. Again, good luck bidding.
THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS AND CARRIES NO WARRANTY; REAL OR IMPLIED
